In business since 1972, Mike Stephenson Sr. has built Timberwood Homes into one of the leading home builders in Southern St. Clair County. In 1996, Mike's son, Mike Stephenson Jr., teamed up with his father after graduating from Michigan State University with a bachelor's degree in Building Construction Management. Mike Jr. has brought a modern touch to the company, making sure that the newest trends in techniques and products are available to their customers. Mike and Mike get their hands dirty, too. They enjoy working onsite. 

Timberwood Homes is a company with a young and energetic crew. Its philosophy is "quality first," not speed of work. If extra time is needed to make something right, we take it. This adds tremendous value to the customer. Work is still done in a very timely manner, though. This is unlike many of today's builders, who believe speed of construction is the top priority and quality is pushed aside.
 

 Timberwood Homes has enjoyed building many custom homes and additions throughout the area.  They also enjoy providing customers with large country lots, many well over an acre.  There philosophy is not to fit as many lots as possible on land they acquire, but to provide large quality lots while maintaining serenity and privacy to their customers.  They realize that existing trees on the property deserve to stay if possible.  Check back frequently to discover new lots available.
